Sweet Girls

I haven't cleaned these yet so Jess has a little red eye, but still, I am quite certain I have the most beautiful sweet daughters ever. And, I will throw down with any one who says other wise. (That's Right I am calling you out Zeb.) Seriously though. They are so fun. The other day jess tipped over one of the chairs to the dining room table and Carol told her to go put it back up. She started lifting on it and said "but this is hard for a little girl." So sweet and funny, I really had to try to not laugh. They can be a trial but they are amazing. Cora was praying the other night and said "thank you for president Hinckley and please bless him to be resurrected so we can see him again." Once more how sweet. I think it shows a lot how good a job Carol is doing. I was going to put a sarcastic remark but Carol said it would be fishing. If you don't know what I mean ask Zeb about Katy. Well it is way to late, and I have still got work to do tomorrow and Carol and I need to go to bed wink wink. Just kidding wink wink. No really just kidding. WINK.

Carols First

Holy cow, this my first posting on our blog. How exciting!! I took this picture a couple days ago and I had to post it. Her scowl says so much about her personality. She is certainly learning quickly from her sisters on how to work mom and dad. The funny thing about it is that this is posed. She is so funny. Currently we are trying to gradually ween her from her binki. Challenging.

Pres. Hinckley

We just got the news that Pres. Hinckley has passed away. I think Carol said it best "bitter sweet". It is difficult to express what he meant to me and I am sure Carol as well. He has been the prophet as long as I have been old enough to understand what that meant and though he will be sorely missed it is difficult to be too sad knowing that he will finally be again with his beloved wife, and knowing how much he has served and how many wonderful reunions he is sure to be experiencing. In short I am grateful for his life, his service, his example and his love. May we be blessed in his absence.

Sweet girls

I love these pics. My girls are so sweet and it is a rare pleasure to be able to nap with them. They hardly ever take naps, which makes it all the more difficult to get them to take naps with me, since snuggling is more rare, except with Jess who loves to snuggle but doesn't care for kisses or hugs. For all her tomboyness the difficulty in understanding her is all girl. Cora seems to be so opposite, girly to a fault and has no hesitation in expressing affection, but absolutely refuses snuggles except when she is sick. Maren has yet to divulge the nature of her personality, none the less I am hopeful that she will have a little of them both. Sometimes she seems to, she usually gives kisses and will snuggle when she wants to or if she is excited. She hasn't stopped her little hip thrust, so cute, and worrisome. Anyway, that is all for tonight hope everyone is well.

A little behind the times

So, Zebby was making fun of me for not being on the blogging scene. So in your face space Coyote. And here we are. Carol and I are both on here, but I have a sneeky suspicion that most blogs will be written by me. (Carol claims to be computer illiterate, I think its a hoax to make me do all the work, and I have all the time in the world when I am sitting in my office waiting for some ignorant child to seek me for the fountain of all psychological knowledge, guess how often that happens.) I am not so keen on this term BLOG; it sounds like something I would leave in the toilet, but it is what it is and until I get creative I will refer to it as such. Anyway, keep your eyes here because we will probably be putting up pictures and such shortly. TTFN. Thats for you B.
